Africa & Beyond 2016..

It has been a little over a year since we and our truck returned from South America.

The vehicle was overseas for 5 years and travelled 130,000Kms, it has now had a near complete overhaul, improving and changing many items. With a plan to do more overlanding and be fair to my business partner I sold him my interest in the TravelTrucks company.

The rough plan is 5 to 7 years.  3 years in Africa, then Europe, Iceland, Scandinavia, Russia, Turkey, The Stans, Tibet, Nepal, China, Burma.

We usually travel for 3 or 4 months at a time. Three months South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland then later in 2016 four months Namibia & Botswana.

If you have the app ‘pocket earth”,( www.pocketearth.com) then as at May 2016 these have been our travels - the blue have been our travels and the green houses our camp sites.

Those dots in Botswana and Namibia are for June to October 2016.
