Back in South America, driving the dotted lines through the Andes Mountain Range of Argentina, Bolivia and Peru.  High mountains mostly over 4000+ metres and in winter. Not ideal but a challenge.

Remote mountain villages of Argentina, the vast Salt lakes and volcanic regions of Bolivia, Lake Titicaca and the Inca Ruins of Peru. The plan was to return mid October after driving the TransAmazonia road down and through the vast Amazon basin and leaving our truck at a friends place in Ji-parana in Brazil.....However ongoing vehicle issues forced a decision to cut the trip short and return the vehicle to Australia for repairs and modifications. Fortunately our travelling companions were also returning from Santiago with a 40’HC container so it was appropriate to share costs with them.
